New Acquisitions
On January 9, 1999, the New Acquisitions Showing and Juried Competition again put MAAG at the forefront of alternative artistic excellence in the multimedia art world. The Collection represented exciting emerging artists and innovative works from past artists. Voted on by a discerning crowd of artists, supporters, patrons, and critics, Galen Schlick's "Electric Chair" installation took first prize.
